The Red Bull Final 5 event was hosted by the Collegiate Golf Alliance at the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association Foundation Conference Golf Tournament April 5, 2005.

Rick McNeil, Michigan State University, Bill Manning, Mick Deluca, UCLA and Dave Koch, University of California, San Diego won the morning tournament Red Bull Final 5 by carding a 5 under par score. Their score included and eagle on hole number 13. Brent Parmer, North Dakota State, Brandon Den Hartog, Fort Louis College, and John Knight, Weber State University won the afternoon Red Bull Final 5 on a card-off with a 4 under par score.

Each of the winning teams participated in the Red Bull Skill challenge in the NIRSA Exhibit Hall to determine the top two players that would advance to Las Vegas. The top two players were awarded round trip airfare, a deluxe tournament package including 2 nights' hotel, NCGC Pairings Party and entry in the National Collegiate Golf Championship in Las Vegas November 11-13, 2005.
