The NIRSA Foundation is pleased to present the 10th Annual NIRSA Foundation Golf Tournament in conjunction with the 2004 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition. Since 1994, tournament proceeds benefiting the NIRSA Foundation have reached nearly $42,000.
The main goals of the tournament are to have fun, meet new people, and support the NIRSA Foundation while enjoying a terrific day of golf at The University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The tournament is a great way to interact with NIRSA professionals, students, and exhibitors.
The tournament will utilize a four-person scramble format. Players can register individually or in teams. In order to provide a fun atmosphere and an equal chance for all, teams should be paired according to ability with each group having an A, B, C, and D player. Scoring will be based on a modified team scramble handicap. Tournament play will begin at 7:30 am and 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 17.
