NCGC Super Site

What is a Super Site?

As a way to gain maximum exposure for the NCGC program, both on a campus and nationally, select schools operate a large Campus Golf Expo. This center of campus expo will promote the program, its sponsors and highlight auxiliary events associated with the National Collegiate Golf Championship. The schools that are selected will be some of our marquee universities that have demonstrated increased interest to program a more elaborate Local Qualifying Event.

In summary, a NCGC Super Site includes

  1. Campus Golf Expo in the weeks prior to the event
    •  Click here for more info
    •  PowerPoint Campus Golf Expo Slide
  2. The AFP Skills Challenge at the expo or at the Local Qualifier
    •  Click here for more info
    •  PowerPoint AFP Skills Challenge Slide
  3. The Red Bull Final 5 contest at the Local Qualifier
    •  Click here for more info
    •  PowerPoint RBF5 Slide

Selection Process

Schools that wish to be considered for the Super Site can indicate their interest as part of the regular NCGC Application form. Selection is based on location, NIRSA Institutional membership and sponsors' selection criteria. In the 2007 NCGC program, up to 10 schools will be selected.

Why a Super Site Host?

We are looking for a few events/schools that want to take the NCGC program to another level.  This is for schools that want to expand their event by offering more components and more prizes.  Some events may choose to partner with an existing fundraising event or they may want additional resources and activities for their program.  This program will include the AFP Skills Challenge and The Red Bull Final 5. Additional sponsors and events may also be available for your campus expo and Local Qualifier tournament.
